SunChips Kicks Off Earth Month With Introduction of World’s First 100 Percent Compostable

To make the fully compostable bag, Frito Lay’s R teams spent several years testing different solutions to address the three layers and functions that currently make up snack food packaging:

The launch of the 100 percent compostable chip bag is just the latest of many steps in the SunChips brand’s sustainability journey.
